So tell me what you think.. So you believe that we should use these beautiful majestic animals for our own past-time personal pleasures? Everyone knows that betting on horses is the old great American pastime. Unfortunately over the last 20 years there's been multiple heartbreaks, of injured horses in races, to the point of having to be euthanized. Horrific accidents as they would have been called right in front of all these horse betting spectators and unfortunately for the owners in front of the cameras.
Many great historical winners have been known to suffer the backlash of the need for speed, so bad that they would drug the injured horses to make them race. Well I'm happy to say that unfortunately for the horse racing fanatics those times may just about the over. We cannot stand by and allow the abuse of these beautiful animals just for spectacle sport. There is a new law coming into effect, (as I write) that will protect these beautiful majestic creatures from abuse at the hands of men. They will be monitored more securely and new laws will be put into place to protect the horses from drug use, as well. This is a great victory for the horses.
This is extremely important because the horses that are raced in pain do not know their limits while they are druged. If they are medicated with pain killers it can actually end their lives, because they don't know when to quit if they cant feel. This has been one of the main problems in these areas, apart from the just specific abuse. They are forced to race and therefore they injure themselves often beyond repair. Which is a tragedy in the face of one of God's great designs. Check out the link below and suport the rights of these beautiful creatures.
